Congratulations on your Poetry Blog of the Week nomination! I am so proud of you! I love that the rest of the world get to appreciate your sweet, king, gentle, beautiful nature through your amazing words.
Blogger has brain fever or something, and my comments aren't working properly, but maybe yours are, so I'll try to leave one here, ok?
This poem....oh stoppit, show-off. This is gooood. The whole smoke/silkworms/mist part is stunning, I loved it. And then you kind of wind up the end, the mood wobbles a little and then, bam, "I feel so alive". The whole thing crackles, and the picture is great, too. Well done!
So good to read this, darling! This is such a relishable piece to read as is all of your writing. I have been dying for a cigarette since morning and now it feels like i just had one. This is so thoughtful of you and so sweetly sentimental for smokers like me.
Excellent photo and poetry combo. Your lines paint a vivid picture giving one the feeling of experiencing the moment. Thank You for visiting Forest River Journal. Yours, Edward.
I soooo agree with what Annie said, you are awesome and I so enjoyed this read!! Thanks so much for linking with Potluck...it is wonderful to have you there :) xx
